Richard was born and raised in the Kansas City area. He learned how to play the guitar and sing at a fairly young age, and he and a friend wrote many songs together. He was saved when he was in junior high.
Richard attended junior college first, then went to Maryville for two years, and while there he met Elaine. After he graduated with a Computer Science major, they were married and moved to Lee’s Summit. They love to travel, and have been on several cruises.
He has been the Treasurer for the church for many years, and will also fix almost anything that needs repaired around the church. He stepped in as the Worship Leader in 2017 when the previous leader left, and has faithfully led worship since then.
