About Us

At The Branches, a member of Kansas Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists, we learn about God from the Bible, worship Jesus in song and continually grow our love for each other. Whether you are looking for a church family you can call home, or just visiting, you are welcome!

Ministries

We are very ministry-oriented. Our church has Sunday morning Bible Study for adults of two age groups. Click here for more information.

The Branches hosts many different organizations. There are two large churches. A Spanish church meets on Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings. New City – Olathe meets on Saturday nights. A Brazilian Bible study meets on Thursday nights. Also, a group called Giving Hearts of Johnson County uses the building to accept donations and distribute them out within their group.

We also volunteer locally at New Hope Food Pantry, and we have adopted an apartment complex, Somerset Apartments, where we deliver food twice a month and provide assistance in other ways, through a partnership with Mission Southside. New City volunteers also assist us at the apartments.

We support a variety of different ministries through contributions. We donate to local (KCKBA) and national (KNCSBA, Annie Armstrong, Lottie Moon, Viola Webb) missions. We also donate to various missionaries living in the Czech Republic, Alaska, Israel and also locally, including Gateway of Hope and Advice and Aid.
